Researchers at the University of Cincinnati have developed a new Test, with the stress hormones in body fluids measure. They hope to develop a simple method to test with the people at home, when the Stress gets out of hand.
It’s not the Stress, if I feel comfortable? Or has changed my stress level? In addition, the newly developed device could be in the future information quickly. It is able to stress hormones with the help of ultra-violet light in a drop of blood, sweat, urine, or saliva to prove. Prof. Andrew Steckl from the College of Engineering and Applied Science, the UC said: "These Stress biomarkers can be found in all these liquids, albeit in different amounts. The Test delivers information, but it gives an indication of whether you need a professional."
Personal experiences have influenced his research, because he had to take his sick father to the doctor to perform Tests. "I thought it would be great if he made the Tests easy to perform self-könnte", so Steckl. "This does not replace laboratory testing, but can give the patient a tap of the Finger."
The project was supported by the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Air Force Research Lab. Steckl explains: "Pilots are exposed to during the missions enormous loads. The ground control don’t want to know when the Pilot is able to control his Mission."
